How many times have you gone to look for something and have been overwhelmed by the amount of items blocking the way? How much time have you spent picking up toys that seem to be cluttered from one end of the house to the other? Paperwork? Needle and thread? One way I am constantly wasting money is by purchasing items that I know I own but can’t find. Clutter add stress to our life. When we are stressed we end up doing that that often result in not using our money wisely. Before you go and organize your home and purchase all these bins and containers, first declutter. There are many steps and many strategies and, and, and! Some of the most helpful books I have read that have really helped me have been, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo and Tsh Oxenreider’s book, Organized Simplicity. Whatever you decide to do, start with just doing it. Do the 40 bag challenge, tackle it by category, by room, whatever it will take to just do it. Keeping a clutter-free home saves money in so many ways and gives us a peace of mind…..
“Before you go and organize your home and purchase all these bins and containers, first declutter.”
Excellent thinking!
