There are many concerns that people have about buying used: repairs, condition, mileage, etc etc etc. Even with replacing a transmission on a vehicle, you are more likely to save money than buying a new vehicle. That is not always the case, research plays an important role here. Our rule has always been to stay under 100,000K miles, we try hard to stay around 75K. The car is always checked out by a mechanic, in this case my husband but you can get it checked out at a local automotive shop. And we look for maintenance records. It takes patience, time, and research to find the car that will work for your family.
